Our Mission
At LTI, we believe that every student has the potential to become a leader - but leadership, like most other aptitudes, must be developed, cultivated, and practiced.
We run LTI each spring, from February to May. To help train the next generation of leaders, we use a combination of theory and practice: our sessions consist of a leadership development portion that builds confidence, character, and leadership skill, and a community service oriented project development portion to turn that training into social good.
Each LTI mentor is a student at MIT with a passion for helping young leaders grow. Mentors specialize in either leadership development or project development, and prepare for LTI sessions with trainings of their own.
